This phosphorescent pigment is neutral during the day and glows a dark blue/purple color in the dark. This is one of the least bright glow in the dark powders but can make for some exceptional effects that no other color can duplicate.

All of the glow powders sold by Art 'N Glow are encapsulated which means that they can be used in both solvent and water based mediums. Some of our competitors sell non encapsulated powders that will deteriorate in water based mediums (such as acrylic paint medium).

This color is not my favorite. I just started experimenting with it. It doesn’t glow very long, after adding it to resin. Even after setting in the sun for 12 hrs. It’s a gorgeous blue when it does glow!! (I also added glow glitter that settled at the top of the item. That’s the ring around the top)

Thanks for your feedback, Jennifer :)
Due to their unique crystalline structures, each glow in the dark color has a different maximum brightness and glow time. Neutral Dark Blue glow powder is one of the more difficult colors to charge. Many times people think the powder is defective, but in reality, they are just not using the appropriate light source to charge it. Once they use the correct light source they see that it does in fact glow vibrantly.
We recommend using a full spectrum UV light (like the sun or specialized lamps) to charge your glow powder to its fullest potential. The UV lights with a 365 nm wavelength and smaller battery-operated UV lights with a lower energy supply will not charge Neutral Dark Blue glow powder anywhere near its full potential.

Amazing

I purchased most of the glow art powder and it works wonderful and every medium that I've used and is reactive to both a little light or a lot of light or the UV light. Once the powder is charged in the UV light it lasts for quite a while. it is a good product and I will continue to purchase it

Neutral Blue Glow in the Dark

Awesome Product, often use it for a clear gloss finish in the light and a deep blue Glow in the dark.

Great Colors!

I have used Art N Glow resin for a while, but used alcohol for colors. I used the pigments for the first time and love them! The colors are so vibrant! I can't wait until I have all the pigment colors!

FYI the attached images are actually our pearl pigments, not our dark blue glow pigment!
