Fluorescent Blue Glow Powder

  • Sale
  • Regular price $ 7.95

This glow powder is blue during the day, fluorescent blue under black light, and glows pure blue in the dark. This powder glows a hue of blue very close to our daytime white sky blue color, but it doesn't glow quite as bright due to the fluorescent dye blocking some of the light.

All of the glow powders sold by Art 'N Glow are encapsulated which means that they can be used in both solvent and water based mediums. Some of our competitors sell non encapsulated powders that will deteriorate in water based mediums (such as acrylic paint medium).

Highly disappointed

I actually want my money back the purple doesn’t glow with out a black light the colors done glow much but white glows really bright I can’t use these in my products to rip off my clients how I just got ripped off. As that much money for it to not work and it’s not a lot of powder to begin with

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback! We’d love to provide some insight :) Our glow in the dark products must be charged with either sunlight or UV light to see their brightest glow - regular indoor lighting is typically not strong enough to charge most of our glow colors to their full potential.

Due to their unique crystalline structures, each glow in the dark color has a different maximum brightness and glow time, which is specified on each individual product page.

For example, the Neutral Green glow powder that you ordered is one of our brightest and longest lasting colors, while the Fluorescent Purple glow powder is made with neutral dark blue glow powder, which is the most difficult color to charge. Many times people think the powder is defective, but in reality, they are just not using the appropriate light source to charge it. Once they use the correct light source they see that it does in fact glow vibrantly:)

Purple glow/light emits a much higher wavelength than other colors, so it does require a bit of a stronger charge than shades of blue or green. We recommend using a UV light with a wavelength of 395 nm or higher to charge your glow powder.
