Use Art 'N Glow's acrylic medium to create your own paint blends. This recipe was created specifically for use with any of our glow powders but may work well with many types of heavier pigments such as metal flakes, glitters, glass, pumice, sand, etc.

To make glow in the dark paint, we recommend mixing 1 part powder to 4 parts paint (2 oz of powder to 8 ounces of paint medium).  Each jar of medium is 8 fluid ounces.

Though white in the jar, this paint dries perfectly clear if left unpigmented.  Experiment with different ratios of pigment to paint for varying levels of transparency.

Our acrylic paint medium is slightly thicker than traditional gloss medium or varnish to prevent heavier pigments (like glow powder) from settling.

I’ve never used an acrylic medium before, so I jumped when I saw this! It’s super easy to blend pigments and the glow powder into! I make it is small 1 gram Jars, which means you’ll get a lot of use out of this jar! A little definitely goes a LONG way!

Works

Mixed in some glow powder and painted popping corks for night fishing. Sealed it up to make it more water resistant. Works great!

Great product

My only complaint about it is it's hard to pour out of the container without making a mess since the opening is so big. But aside from that this product is great. Mixes very well with the powder and paints on smooth.

Doesn’t work for me :/

I have this but it doesn’t make my paint glow at all, even tried the paint on its own and used the black light and nothing

Our paint medium does not glow on it's own. We would recommend adding one of our glow in the dark powders and then charging with a UV light to see an amazing glowing effect!

The answer is quite simple.

To the question of, "should I buy this for my pigments?", my answer would go as follows, in a very explicit, very in-depth introspection of the query.

Yes.
